The Trauma and Orthopaedic Department specializes in skeletal trauma following sporting and traffic injuries.
Having the most advanced facilities in imaging in the region, (Intra-Operative Functional Siemens 1.5 T MRI, CT Scanner with Intra-Operative real-time Imaging, Digital X-Ray) at the Neuro Spinal Hospital, the Orhthopaedic department can not only offer immediate diagnosis and treatment as an outpatient but can also offer the most advanced surgical intervention, using the latest techniques and technologies in implants and instruments.
This department has extensive expertise in knee, hip and shoulder joint replacement as well as in the difficult field of revision surgery, especially after failed surgery. This expertise will make the NSH a Center of Excellence in Dubai and help the UAE residents to receive treatment at home without having to travel abroad.
