Our belief at the Neuro Spinal Hospital is that an individual can make a difference but a team can make a miracle.
The Nursing Service supports and facilitates the care of patient/client by empowering nurses to the development of the Science of Nursing. We actively promote evidence based practice; sound nursing research and continuous Quality Improvement.
Nurses work within a legally sanctioned framework ‘The Registered Nurses Act’; which promotes a high standard of care.
Nursing practice is holistic, encompassing the physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs of our patient/client.
The Focus is: Health - a dynamic state of well being.
Furthermore, we believe that the patient and family play a major role in the outcome of his/her interactions with the health care team. Based on this belief, we keep the patient/family informed in all decisions which impact on his/her care.
Our aim is to readily accept change and adapt to new technology never losing sight of our goal which is to always provide ‘Healthcare with a Human touch’.
