The NSH pathology and laboratory department houses some of the most accurate and state of the art analyzers in different fields of surgical and clinical pathology. We specilise in: biochemistry, microbiology, serology, and more specifically in the diagnostic tests for neurological disorders; frozen section biopsies, stereotactic biopsies, intra and post operative diagnosis of Central Nervous System and Peripheral Nervous System pathologies via Histological and Cytological assessment.

In addition to being supported by expert in-house technicians and senior pathologists, the department liaises closely with Bioscienta Laboratory (Ingelheim) and the Cologne University Neuropathology Department in Germany for tests which are not available in the UAE. Batches are sent twice a week and the patient can have access to the results within only five days.
